Needed to Replace '94 Cherokee Sport w/150Kmi+

Ordered a '97 Cherokee Sport 4-door to replace my '94 Cherokee Sport that had just hit 145Kmi. The 4.0L 6cyl was the best engine in any 4WD midsized SUV I had owned. Traded my '89 S10 blazer with the 2.8L 6cyl that was underpowered for a '94 Cherokee Sport 4.0L 4-door and absolutely loved it. When it gave me 4yrs of trouble free ownership I knew another one would be a great choice. Eventually I ended up getting a Grand Cherokee Laredo in the late-2000's after my last of 2 Cherokee Sport Classics hit 200Kmi &my wife has a '25 Grand Cherokee in the garage parked next to her 2020 XC90 that we bought at lease-end as it only had 9Kmi and it is good for 250Kmi before any maintenance bills over $500. Wish Jeep would do a retro Cherokee Sport as that boxy bold look had a strong following. Think Saab 900 followers. - 4.0
