Changes over the Generation
The second-gen Focus began production in 2008 and featured a 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine that was good for 140 hp. Initially available in three different trims, the Focus offered a wide range of impressive features. Available as a coupe and a sedan the 2008 Focus offered drivers a new interior, Ford's Sync Bluetooth/audio system, and amazing fuel economy.
In 2009, trim
options were changed around, and the Focus was available with electronic
stability control as an option. In 2010 stability control would be made
standard. The 2009 model also saw the departure from the chrome bumper
trim that had adorned the 2008 model.
